Spring Summer 2010

Sheer Fabrics

Sheer fabrics are back in rage after a long pause, and not just back they are back with a bang……..

With plenty of celebrities already wearing them…….sheer is everywhere

See through tops, tights, dress…..screaming “look at me”

Pair the tights with more modest bloomers or boy shorts; take the advantage of laying in tops and tunics……to experiment with this look while keeping the base still very elegant.

Feminine and delicate….Touch me not…..

Spring-Summer 2010

Bow-Bow....

Spring summer saw a number of designers send bows down the runway. Most notable Marc Jacobs, Luella and Temperley-while Dina von Furstenberg’s resort 2010 collection was also filled with big, colorful playful bows.

Bows can be worn this summer to afford a 80s Madonna look or a headscarf tied up 1940’s working girl styles.

Without compromising with quality flaunt this style to create a very luxurious and fun appeal. This trend is further expected to expand in form of cute headgears and headbands.

Though bows have brought in a breeze of fresh air, but the longetivity of this trend is questionable.

Spring - Summer 2010 ...notice me PRINTS

Bold and outrageous ss-2010 is all about vibrant prints…….

Motifs and designs have been set in mirror….repeats…ENGINEERED prints adds more excitement to the existing stories.

Splashy play of colors……fabrics behaving like blank canvas…springs are promising to be a complete artistic delight.

These bold colors and abstract patterns gel well with Crisp Silk fabrics, sateen, satin and delicate chiffons.

Like patters the colors too are very acidic and impact with free use of black and tones of depth.

Tribal, abstract and Digital imagery which reminds of X-ray imprints are going to make to the top …this summer.

Designers like Alexander McQueen …Peter Pilotte, Mary Katrantzou have made maximum advantage of the digital look.
