Spring Summer 2010.... Warrior look

Future Combatants

Military fashion has been the talk of the time for quite some time now, but this Spring summer presents a eccentric blend of contemporary and parallel fashion with the ancient warlords wardrobe which has reloaded a new age Military fashion altogether …..The future warrior look.

The twist to the story is all about adding a contemporary flavor to the traditional interpretations of futuristic approach.

Highly inspired by the ancient civilization this look is bold and flamboyant …all and all it’s a fusion of tribal and military fashion.

Key design elements responsible for the look include metal and metallic influences, tribal motifs and tattoos, feather, fur, leather and bead work.

Other prime details along the silhouette are hard and prominent shoulders to indicate power and influence, high splits, exaggerated and flashy trims, and body hugging short dresses wit metallic finishing.

Spring - Summer 2010 High split dress

The “Summer Sultriness”

Flaunting well toned and tanned legs is easier then ever …with high split dresses “summers are back” with a bang.

2010 is promising to be yet another season of long skirts, maxi dresses in light and flowly fabrics with shear. The slits have been kept high intentionally to give more than a hint of leg. The cut show off the whole leg with split reaching high up till the top of the thigh. Certain collections also see the split reaching higher then the thighs.

There may be a single split or a centre split or even a dual split with a panel of fabric falling along the middle section. The high split dress can be coordinated with high heels, tanned and toned bare legs. High draping dress with a high split for the ultimate in summer sultriness.
